Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open at both locations next year, although no exact opening dates have been announced. Magic Kingdom’s version of the ride closed in January, while Disneyland’s closed at the end of May. In 2020, Disney announced Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as a replacement for Splash Mountain at both Disney World and Disneyland. Terence Blanchard has also been brought on to create music for the ride’s queue. There will also be more than a dozen new animatronic figures throughout the attraction.Įarlier this month, Disney revealed it had tapped New Orleans native PJ Morton to compose an original song for the attraction. The ride will feature other characters from the film, including Prince Naveen, Mama Odie, Tiana’s mother Eudora and Tiana’s friend Charlotte.
Scaffolding is in position throughout the mountain for crews to access different areas of the structure.
